Buying Bitcoin on Heartbit

Beginner 3 minHeartbit Guides

Buying Bitcoin on Heartbit is designed to be simple and transparent. Whether this is your first purchase or your hundredth, the process takes just a few taps. This guide walks you through every step.

Before You Buy

To buy Bitcoin on Heartbit, you need a verified account. This means completing the identity verification process, which typically involves providing your ID and a brief check. Once verified, you have access to all trading features.

You also need funds available in your Heartbit account. You can deposit fiat currency (such as USD, ILS, or EUR) according to the available deposit methods, and then use those funds to purchase Bitcoin.

Market Orders vs. Limit Orders

Heartbit supports two types of orders.

  • A market order buys Bitcoin immediately at the current market price. You specify how much you want to spend (in your chosen currency) or how much Bitcoin you want to buy, and the trade executes right away. This is the simplest and fastest option.
  • A limit order lets you set a target price. You specify the price at which you want to buy and the amount. The order stays open until the market reaches your price, at which point it executes automatically. If the price never reaches your target, the order remains open until you cancel it.

The Buy Flow

  • Go to the Trade screen.
  • Select Buy and choose Market or Limit.
  • Enter the amount in your preferred currency or in BTC.
  • Review the price, fee, and total.
  • Confirm the purchase.

For market orders, your Bitcoin appears in your account within seconds. For limit orders, you will see the order in your pending orders list until it fills.

Understanding Fees

Each trade includes a transparent fee shown before you confirm. The fee covers the cost of executing your trade through Heartbit's regulated trading infrastructure. The exact fee appears on the confirmation screen so the cost is clear before you proceed.

After Your Purchase

Once your buy order executes, the Bitcoin is credited to your Heartbit account. You can see it in your Wallet balance. Your portfolio automatically updates with the new purchase, adjusting your average buy price and total holdings.

From here, you can hold your Bitcoin on Heartbit, make additional purchases, or withdraw to your own wallet for self-custody.
